How long have you worked at Virginia Tech? 

I began working at Virginia Tech as a wage employee while I was attending Radford University back in 2015. I accepted a full-time salary position in 2017 and have been an employee at VT for going on 10 years now!

What is your favorite building or area on the Virginia Tech campus?  

My favorite area on campus is the Hahn Horticulture Garden. I just think everything about it is so beautiful, peaceful, and relaxing.

Who is the most famous person you have met?

The most famous person I have ever met is probably the author Beth Macy at a book signing. She has written a couple of my favorite books.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?  

 I don’t know that I have ever single-handedly followed any piece of advice anyone has ever given me or would deem something as the best, but if I had to choose, I would say, “always being authentically yourself and putting that before anything else”.

What is your favorite way to spend a weekend or day off? 

 I just enjoy spending time with my son, family, and friends.
