How long have you worked at Virginia Tech? 

17 years. I started as a student worker in 2008 and transitioned to full-time in 2013.

What is your favorite building or area on the Virginia Tech campus?

The Duck Pond, as I enjoy watching and offering a snack to the local fowl and turtles. 

Who’s the most famous person you have met? 

I'm not sure. Does the HokieBird count? 

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?  

"Life is too short to be unhappy." It helps me daily with gratitude, positivity, and perspective. 

What is your favorite way to spend a weekend or day off? 

Quality time with family and friends to help recharge. Lately that's been tubing, swimming, trying new eateries in town, and even Bingo.
