How long have you worked at Virginia Tech? 

I started at VT in 2002, left in 2019 and came back again January 2023 for a total of 19 years. I plan to stay until retirement. 😊

What is your favorite building or area on the Virginia Tech campus?

 As a lover of college football, I would say Lane Stadium. The energy during Enter Sandman is something you have to experience if you haven’t already.

Who’s the most famous person you have met? 

Probably Michael Vick.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?  

Pick your battles!!!  Not everything you disagree with deserves an argument.

What is your favorite way to spend a weekend or day off? 

My perfect day off starts with no alarm clock and no schedule—just the freedom to be outside in the sunshine with my family, preferably somewhere by the water.  I soak up the simple joy of good food, laughter, and fun with the people I love most.
