Lynsay Belshe serves as the Vice President of Auxiliary and Business Services at Virginia Tech, providing strategic leadership and oversight for a diverse portfolio of essential campus services. Her areas of responsibility include Hokie Passport Services, Mail Services, Air Transportation Services, Fleet Services, Sustainable Transportation, and Parking Services. Additionally, she manages the university’s partnerships with third-party providers responsible for the operations of The Inn at Virginia Tech.
With a strong emphasis on collaboration and innovation, Belshe works closely with university leadership, campus stakeholders, and local, state, and federal officials to ensure compliance, enhance transportation and infrastructure initiatives, and improve the overall campus experience.
Belshe brings extensive expertise in higher education administration and business operations. She holds a master’s degree in organizational sciences from George Washington University and a bachelor’s degree in leadership studies from the University of Richmond.
Prior to joining Virginia Tech, she served as Senior Associate Vice President of Operations at Syracuse University, where she led strategic initiatives and day-to-day operations within the Division of Business, Finance, and Administrative Services. Before that, she spent 12 years in senior administrative roles at George Washington University, contributing to key operational improvements and institutional growth. Earlier in her career, she worked in management consulting, specializing in business transformation.
