ABS Kudos Wall

Welcome to the ABS Kudos Board!

This is our space to recognize and celebrate the amazing people who make Auxiliary and Business Services a great place to work. Whether it’s lending a hand during a busy week, going above and beyond for a teammate, or simply spreading positive energy, every act of support matters and deserves a shoutout. Let’s lift each other up and keep the good vibes going.

How to create and share a Kudos:

Option 1: Static Image (JPG)

  1. Choose a template below.

  2. Customize the card in Canva:

    • Replace the placeholder text with your colleague’s name, your message of appreciation, and your name

  3. Download the card as a JPG:

    • Click Share in Canva

    • Select Download

    • Choose File Type: JPG

  4. Email the JPG to lindawh@vt.edu to have it shared on the Kudos Wall within 2 business days.

Option 2: Animated Kudos (HTML Embed)

  1. Choose a template and customize it as described above

  2. Click Share in Canva

    • Choose More

    • Select Embed

    • Copy the HTML embed code

  3. Email the embed code to lindawh@vt.edu to be added to the Kudos Wall.

We will use the embed code to post the animated Kudos on the ABS Kudos Wall within 2 business days.

 

Want to Share Privately?

You can still use the templates or create your own card and share it directly with your colleague without posting it online. To share privately, simply customize your card in Canva. When you're finished, click "Share" and either copy the link to send it as a viewable card or download it as a PDF or JPG to send by email, Microsoft Teams, or print and deliver in person. There’s no need to email it to us if you prefer to keep it private.

Kudos shared on the ABS Kudos Wall will be displayed for the duration of the current semester. At the end of each semester, all submissions will be removed to make space for new recognitions.
